in3corp (in3) of Boulder underwrote Project Bird Home in Boulder, Colo. Founded in 2005, the project is an art-based entrepreneurial program formed to empower youth through participation in the arts. From design to production to marketing of ceramic birdhouses, teens learn about native bird populations, practice ceramic production skills, and launch a product on the market. Besides the fostering of the creative spirit, the aim of Project Bird Home is to provide young people with the tools for building a successful entrepreneurial venture and to give them an opportunity to earn money through selling the work of their own hands.
