Blue Haven Children’s Home is not only an orphanage but it is a shelter home for those kids whose parents do not have enough resources for their upbringing. They have a total of 28 children--both boys and girls between the ages of 7-17 years and most of them are from the Northeast part of India. The children there are very happy and contented; placed in a caring environment and safe, good hands. They are given good food to eat, good clothes to wear and most importantly good access to education. They are also given an excellent exposure to extra-curricular activities like singing, playing instruments, as well as creative and artistic activities.

in3 provided the shelter home with equipment to ensure the children have access to clean drinking water. in3 also had this equipment professionally installed. in3 provided the children with new bedsheets and pillow covers. Employees in our Lucknow office contributed money from their end with which basic, daily needs will be met.

During our team’s visit, all the children sang welcome songs and various other Hindi and English songs. We had lunch together with the kids and presented our contributions. The children were very happy in the time and attention given to them; and our team enjoyed a similar lift from the time spent in our warm visit.
